Winter Bulletin January
2020
The Board
has scheduled four HOA Business Meetings during the 2020 calendar year. Our next scheduled open Board Meeting is
Thursday, March 19th @ 6:30pm. It is our hope that the open Board meetings will
be informative and provide a forum for resident comments and Q&A. Special Executive Sessions of the Board will
be necessary for planning throughout the year. You will receive more specifics
on the social events as we get closer to those dates. Additional opportunities to get involved are through committee
work. Association committees include:
1. Clubhouse Committee: responsible for rental reservations & keys; upkeep & maintenance;
long term planning for remodeling & clubhouse usage; ongoing review of
clubhouse rules & guidelines.
2. Communication Committee: updating community directory; website planning;
minutes/bulletins/packets & distribution; maintain Association records;
post signs
3. Architectural & Landscape Control Committee: review/approve change forms submitted; ongoing review &
updating of guidelines.
4. Common Area Maintenance Committee: annual
infrastructure assessment; communicate/coordinate services with property
manager and contractors; provide labor for upkeep of entrances, shade garden
& around clubhouse grounds; entrance & exterior lights;
mailboxes/posts; geese control.
5. Legal Committee: ongoing review & updating of
governing documents; covenant enforcement; conduct elections; election
procedures; keep updated on Indiana HOA Law; liaison with attorney; Amendments
to Covenants.
6. Financial Committee: do preliminaries for annual budget; RFP process for service contracts;
reserve fund planning short & long term; review & recommendations for
large expenditures
7. Social Committee: planning, preparation; decorations; cleanup; publicity; RSVP’s/phone calls.

election this April. These are each
3-year terms. If you are interested in nominating yourself
or another resident to the Board, you must contact Property Services Group by Friday, March 13th. We
recommend providing a brief statement of your interest and why you would be a
good candidate. You will have an
opportunity to meet the candidates at the March 19th HOA
Meeting. Elections will be held April 16th
