March 2016 Board Minutes

Meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm and the Pledge of Allegiance was recited by all.

Board: Maggie Jones, Suzie Jamerson, Cathy Winterrowd, and Mike Barr were present, Don Ulrey was absent. PSG Management: Larry Edwards and Susan Keene were present.

Minutes from last meeting were approved.              

Don Ulrey's treasurer's report:     7 % of the budget

Architectural Report:  one report submitted

Social Committee Report: Suzie continues to visit residents with flowers and get well wishes.   

New Business/Old Business:    OLD:  The Board is now informing all residents that an HOA fee increase is inevitable and will occur this coming January 2017 resulting in a fee INCREASE of $25.00 per month.  The HOA fee will then be $150.00 a month replacing the current fee of $125.00 per month.   All residents should prepare now for this increase to occur beginning January 1, 2017.    

NEW:    Please Do not feed the geese!!! Mowing will start this Thursday,  March 24^th.  Caution if you are renting the clubhouse, PLEASE do not drag the wooden tables. Table legs are old and weak. Please lift tables when moving them.  Anyone interested in lawn treatments may contact Outdoor Solutions at 834-2962. 10% discount for prepay ends March 28^th (3 treatments total $136.95, single treatments are $50.72)    Residents with outdoor flood lights, please demonstrate courtesy with your neighbors.  Bible studies begin Wed. April 20^th, 10:30 to noon at the clubhouse.  Heavy trash day April 9^th, 9am to 1pm at the Avon public works facility behind Ashley Furniture on Rockville Rd.   Tox-Away days begin Apr 9^th.        

The Annual meeting will be held on April 21, 2017 at 6:30 p.m at the clubhouse.   We encourage all residents to attend and to vote.   We would also like to inform you that there will be a vacant spot on the board to elect a new member at this annual meeting.   If any resident is interested and would like to represent our community by becoming a board member, please contact Susan Keene at PSG 837-9860 to have your name placed on the ballot for election.    Elections will be held at the annual meeting April 21st.
