Waterford Lakes HOA Meeting Minutes 16 March 2017
Meeting was called to order. Board members present were Maggie Jones, Caroline King and Jo Grimes. Present from PSG Management were Larry Edwards and Susan Keene.
Secretarial report: February meeting minutes were approved as written.

Roofing Reserve$204,174.19
- Financial: We are well within budget so far and put $12K in the Roofing Reserve.
- Architectural: We have started roofing and plan to complete one per month, finishing the first eight in November. Several new doors have been approved. Please remember that you cannot just remove the grating.
- Social: We will have another breakfast on 22 April. A flyer will be distributed. Kindly RSVP. We are planning to have a community garage sale either the weekend before or the weekend after Mothers’ Day. More information will be forthcoming. There will be a Block Party this summer.
- Old Business: There was nothing to address.
- New Business: After reviewing all bids, the Board selected Growing Image as our supplier for fertilization, fountain care and storage, and lake treatment. The Board is looking at the benefits in changing banks to obtain a better interest rate and lower fees. ASAP put the fountains in a little earlier this year as it worked in their schedule. We aren’t planning on turning them on yet to save some on the electric bill.
On
15 April, we plan to improve the South entrance and plan to put down
weed barrier, replace the mulch and generally spruce up the entrance. If
you can volunteer, we would greatly appreciate your help.
On 1 April, Avon will do heavy trash disposal and shredding from 9:00AM to 1:00PM, at Avon’s salt barn behind Ashley Furniture.
Our Annual Meeting will be 20 April at 6:30PM and hope you will attend. You will be receiving your ballot in the mail shortly. We are filling three board positions.
